She is satisfied with her BF's, although has started having fewer during the day, but maybe she is finally putting herself on 4hourly feeds. Not sure, we don't really have a routine during the day but she gets enough liquid in her anyways... She used to open her mouth, but now she clams it completely shut when she sees the spoon. I don't think i have helped by taking advantage of her crying open mouth to put food in. Think i will have to give it a couple of days before trying again... Im not really worried, just don't want to leave it too long and have a struggle at 8 months over eating solids... Think i might try the finger foods, not liking the idea of the mess it will make though... I did put apple through her porridge and it didn't really make a huge difference. Ran out of apple which is why I haven't done it the last couple of days. But as i said, im pretty sure its not cos she doesn't like it... She is just stubborn and has decided not to open her mouth... Might try the bath option too, we don't have a seat and just bath her in the sink (she sits in the bath and in her baby bath the toys float out of reach, this way she can grab them all. She loves it and it means i can dry the dishes/make dinner while she is in the bath. I do still keep a close eye on her though :-)) but it may work. Willing to try anything... Will see how we go :-)
